This is partially because of that and partly because, every Christmas and Birthday since I've known her, I have promised her the same present and failed to deliver on that one present. The aftermath of Jarvis doing what he had to, where Clint tries to talk to Tony, Bruce, and Jarvis himself about it, with all of the spot-on characterizations and probably some of the best summarization of Fury's character I have ever, ever read.

Clintasha, the way it should be done. Where they're hesitant and serious and dark but can still find reassurance in being together at the end of the day, and Natasha doesn't break down any barriers of not believing in the childish idea of love because she's too far gone for that. Everything about these two here is great.
