From a prompt from Thad: "Bondage! It can start with a little problem in the shop. Tony, or Steve, gets caught on something and needs help getting out..."

...and APPARENTLY there is an "Accidental Bondage" tag \O/

“JARVIS, I’m tangled up in cables and need assistance. Get Dummy.” He surveyed the narrow path between the racks. “No, scratch that plan. Not enough space to maneuver.” He looked up at his trapped wrists. “Or enough fine-motor control. I need opposable thumbs.”

“Shall I call 911, sir?” JARVIS inquired calmly. “Will a hatchet be required? Jaws of life?”

Tony’s lips are on his again, surprisingly soft and warm and his beard isn’t scratchy at all, but pleasant, and his mouth tastes faintly of scotch, and that’s Pepper’s other hand on his shoulder, between them, tightening there.

Steve pulls his head back, slightly. “Sorry,” he says, and he’s not sure which of them he’s addressing, but he’s had Long Island iced teas and Adios, Motherfuckers and he can maybe pretend later that he didn’t know any better.

    Summary

As the months progress, Steve takes note of Tony's complete disregard of sleep. And when Tony does sleep, it is usually on the couch in the living room. What started as a means of getting Tony to acknowledge his body's demands, evolved into a complex array of mathematical equations and Pavlovian conditioning. Figuring out how to get Tony to sleep is the easy part. Everything else are unaccounted variables.
