Summary:
Newly promoted to Special Agent, Noah Puckerman is only a week into his transfer to DC when he’s assigned a case that brings him into contact with the team at the Jeffersonian, and someone he hasn’t seen in a dozen years: Dr. Kurt Hummel.With Booth and Brennan on family leave, Puckerman and Hummel are made to work together during the investigation; taking them from national monuments to drag bars, lab work to undercover work, domesticity to danger. Events lead them to a conclusion that’s a little too close to home.
Sparks fly as the two men are forced to see beyond the boys they once were, and look at what they could be.

“A thousand,” Stiles says, because screw ethics. Also, the Hale family is loaded. Derek can deal.
