Summary: Danny went to Steve's that night to thank Steve for getting the Governor to talk some sense into his ex wife about their custody battle, but that’s not quite what happened. The next morning everything had changed between them and Danny had no idea how to deal with the feelings he could no longer make himself ignore, or the partner who didn’t seem to feel the same way.
Title from the song of the same name, “Open All Night” by Bon Jovi, which inspired this story, particularly the chorus:
