  2. Summary

Sometimes life on the Enterprise gets hectic. Okay, scratch that, life on the Enterprise is always hectic. Sometimes all it takes to break through the insanity is a moment of connection with someone else, even if you weren't looking for it, even if it comes from the last place you'd ever expected. These are some of those moments.

Not so much a series as a set of fics that occur in the same universe, this 'verse as a whole became coherent in my mind after I realized that I could write at least a half dozen fics based on or inspired by Badly Drawn Boy songs. These two are finished, and I do have plans for more. As of now they're in the order I wrote them, which also happens to be the order in which they take place; when I write more, I'll indicate if that changes.

  3. Summary

At a glance, they seem easy to figure out-- who they are, what they want, where they stand with each other. But appearances can be deceiving, and 'comrades in arms' can cover a lot of ground.

A handful of fics in the same 'verse showing different facets of the relationship between Hannibal Smith and "Faceman" Peck. Each can be read as a standalone, and while they're ordered chronologically within the series, you can read them in any order.

"I know you're still you, Rogers," Bucky said. "You're just…" he trailed off, studying Steve closely.

    "Just what?" Steve asked, flushing.

It was Bucky's turn to shrug. "Just more, I guess."
