These are bits of pieces spanning my original AU seasons of case fics and James' coming to terms with both childhood trauma and more recent assault but are all from Lewis' PoV as he struggles to be a supportive and understanding boss and friend and a patient and loving boyfriend and hopefully, eventually, lover.
Despite the tags there is no descriptions of either crimes or, in this, James' own feelings and memories. instead it deals with how we best support someone we love who has been a victim of sex crimes.

Summary
These are stories based on the original stories I made up and told verbally night after night to my autistic daughter when we were without TV or PC back in the summer of 2010. Lewis DVDs is what is takes to keep her still and get her to sleep at night, or did, she is getting better with age :D! Obviously, as I wrote them down they became more intense and a little darker, although the fact of Hathaway dealing with his childhood sexual abuse was a particular request of my daughter, as The Dead of Winter really stressed her out.
