Ten years ago, Captain Wei Shun's proposed to his childhood sweetheart, Cheng Lan and was humiliatingly rejected in front of all members of the royal court. Now, the king has given a newly victorious General Wei Shun a special reward for his military service - a slave named Cheng Lan.
Lan was born to be a high ranking scholar-official within the king's court. When accusations of treason destroy his family and he is reduced to slavery, his last hope is a childhood friend who's love he once scorned. Shun's success and popularity has seen him more than one jealous rival in court. The events that lead to Lan's family's arrest and execution are fast catching up with him. They will need to negotiate the treachery of the royal court together - if they are to survive.
NOW COMPLETE. Volume 2 is up! You can read When the Plum Blossoms Bloom here.
The Kingdom of Aldern has always been ruled by a magical guardian of royal heritage, and their non-royal political consort. When Dominant political advisor Sebastian Smythe hears from his submissive Blaine Anderson that Crown Prince Kurt Hummel has begun his search for a consort, he sees a perfect opportunity for a bit of social climbing - and if he gets a piece of royal ass in the process then so much the better.
Unfortunately Sebastian forgot to read the small-print; there's a lot more to this union than simple politics, and soon he finds himself on the outskirts of a budding relationship between Kurt and Blaine. If he's not careful he's going to lose everything he's ever worked for, and his submissive to boot.
But maybe, if he plays his cards right, he'll win something better than he ever imagined possible.
“I should get back to my letters,” Laurent said. “Your letters, actually, since you have turned into a lay-about since becoming king.”
An epilogue for the Captive Prince trilogy, taking place just a couple of days after the end of Kings Rising, with a few bits of information pulled from the short story "The Summer Palace."

Kurt’s been in a secret relationship with his roommate at Dalton for months. That would be fine... if he wanted any of it. If he could say no, and if Dave would listen. If he were with Blaine, his wonderful friend from the school’s glee club, instead.
