This reminded me a lot of Torchwood episode [not in a bad way, no no no] - in fact, would a Torchwood/W13 crossover not be epic? Anyway! To the story at hand! It is DELIGHTFULLY in character, and the ending stays away from being a puddle of sappy-goo-happily-ever-after, which I think pretty much cemented this as my favourite.
