  4. Summary

This thirteen-part series tries to paint a better imagination of the missing queer, female sexuality in the show to create a deeper and less depressing narrative for the relationships between those women. In the first half, it pulls Delphine into the show's main theme of solidarity and sisterhood to resolve the conflict between her and Cosima. In later half, it resolves the ship wars of Cophine and Shaysima. (So if you only want to ship Cophine as a monogamous pairing, see the series as complete after part six.) Personally, I feel that the title story in part five is the best in this series.

  5. Summary

A series of poems about the relationship of Xena and Gabrielle that alternates between the two characters' perspectives. I need to learn to write poems for my own work, and that Sappho poem from "Many Happy Returns" gave me an excuse. So here's a nice batch of epic quest-love poems, instead of the usual war-quest poems, between these two very different heroes.
