Summary
"Good God, Erik thought. The Prince of Wales is gay."
Charles lives in the unceasing glare of the public spotlight, yet keeps his sexual orientation a closely held secret, afraid he could lose his throne and force his deeply troubled younger sister into a role that would crush her. Erik, journalist and world traveler, has been a loner most of his life; he has little patience for closet cases. But a chance meeting in Kenya brings these two opposites together and sets in motion a love affair that will challenge the British monarchy -- and force them both to change forever.

Summary
Charles makes a New Year's Resolution:
“No more straight men,” Charles repeated as he began scrolling through the apartment directory for Emma’s name. “No more futility. No more pointless hoping and heartbreak. In 2013, I never want to hear the words ‘exception,’ ‘experimenting’ or ‘phase.’ If, God forbid, I hear ‘bicurious’ even once, I may take a hostage.”
Then he goes into the party, and Erik is there.

Summary
When Raven gets mixed up in a mutant cult, Charles infiltrates the group, pretending to be a true believer in the hopes of getting her out. What surprises him is the charisma and uncanny wisdom of the cult's leader, Elisha Ammon -- the emotional power of this isolated group of mutants working to create a home together -- and his powerful connection to Ammon's right-hand man, Erik Lehnsherr. But Ammon's fear of humanity, and of the future, makes him desperate for control ... and when the bond between Charles and Erik can't be contained, Ammon's reaction proves deadly.
(The role of Elisha Ammon is being played by the very obliging Imaginary Benedict Cumberbatch.)

Many of the pressures in Charles Xavier's life -- the sacrifices Erik and Charles make to be together -- the constant tension of being closeted -- Charles' relationship to the Church he once served as a priest -- his distance from his sister -- come to the forefront in 1967. Summary
In 1965, Erik Lehnsherr has infiltrated the NYPD for his own purposes -- but his powers make him a brilliant detective. Yet that's not why FBI agent Charles Xavier has sought him out. It's because the mysterious killer they're both trying to find is murdering people like them: other mutants.
Their search for a madman binds them together. Their inner demons may tear them apart. But the greatest danger comes when the killer they're looking for looks back ...

Summary
Erik and Charles have built a happy life together in the three years since Charles left the priesthood. But the shadows of Erik's past threaten to overwhelm them when Charles receives the one gift he's most wanted his whole life ... a chance at becoming a father.
Sequel to "Sacrament," though it could probably be followed on its own.

Summary
I prompted this MYSELF on the Kink Meme and then got obsessed with it and had to write! "It's still the early 1960s. Charles grew up devoutly religious, went to seminary and took orders.
And for the few years he's been a priest, he's been a good one. He coordinates volunteering and assistance for several charities in New York City, where his parish is, and doesn't mind the life of poverty he leads (though his sister Raven sometimes comes in from upstate to ask him if he doesn't miss champagne at all.)
Then he comes up with the idea of partnering with a Jewish organization that helps the poor, which meets with some resistance from the Catholic brass -- but Charles is firm that all children are God's children and they should do what's right.
Then he meets Erik Lehnsherr, the devout Jew and Holocaust survivor who runs that other charity, who is so fiercely protective of his charges that it moves Charles' heart -- and the first time their eyes meet, Charles has to confront the greatest temptation he'll ever know, and the church's teachings about what love is."
In this AU, Charles has powers - he just doesn't know it.

Summary
Written for the following prompt: Erik is an aggressive, dangerous, cynical mutant, hardened from years of being passed through private laboratories and used for experimentation. He's covered in surgical scars from operations, tattooed and bar coded like a lab rat, and blind from an experiment done on his eyes. ... Charles Xavier finds out about him. Charles runs a sort of sanctuary for mutants that provides lost, abandoned, abused, runaway mutants with shelter, comfort, and help with ability control. He thinks he can rehabilitate Erik and save him from execution, and convinces the government that he can.
When Erik arrives, he is a lot worse than Charles thought he would be ... Everyone else can see that Erik is a nuclear bomb waiting to go off, but Charles refuses to give up on him. ...
The first time Charles sneaks up on him wearing no metal, it triggers him and he reacts instinctively, with violence. ... Erik discovers why Charles understands him so well: he was once used in experiments as well, experiments run by his own family, and in one of them, he lost his voice, so he uses his telepathy to communicate.
Blind Erik, mute Charles, the love.

Summary
In 1967, when a scientific conference on genetics and mutation turns into a dangerous hostage situation -- led by a team of rogue mutants -- Erik realizes it's up to him to save the day. And the hostages. Most particularly the hostage named Charles Xavier.

Summary
Written for the following prompt: Charles knows everything about Erik, knows how obsessive and self-destructive he is, how Erik would do anything, give anything, in his quest for vengeance against Shaw. But he also knows that Erik loves him in ways that aren't exactly platonic.
I'd like to see a completely straight!Charles, out of pure love and care of Erik, initiate a romantic relationship with him. It can be because he wishes to give Erik something positive in his life or because he thinks it might help change Erik's mind about Shaw, the reason is up to author. Also, while Charles finds intimacy with Erik strange and awkward, he does enjoy the new, non-romantic layers that have developed in their relationship.

I wanted to archive some of my shorter ficlets here but didn't see the point of putting them up separately. Each chapter will have the prompt as notes at the beginning.

Summary
Written for the following prompt: Erik dies, or finds a reversey-time mutant, or a magical time travelling device, and wakes up in the past. This time, though, it's before he ever met Charles - in fact, it's before his mother died.
He can save his mother that one time (thanks to his mastery over powers carrying back), but what does Erik do after that? Does he stick around, or escape and run to find Charles again (and hope everything doesn't go wrong)?
Sort of a bookend to my story "Undone," though they are totally independent stories.

Summary
This began as a short ficlet written for this kink meme prompt: "No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.' - Heraclitus
Post-X3 Charles, instead of transfering his consciousness to the coma guy, finds his mind back in the body of his younger self, right after Shaw's attack on the CIA compound, on their way to the mansion.
The thing: Charles' wants to fix what happened with Erik, but he can't bring himself to do it. He knows that this younger Erik can't be held responsible for his future self's actions, but, nonetheless, here is the man who will paralyze him, who will leave him on the beach, who will turn his sister into a merciless killer. Here is the man who will betray him in the worst way possible, by using him as a tool, a weapon, in his quest to kill all the humans.
So Charles blows cool and hot towards Erik, and Erik is left wondering where all the UST went and why Charles is suddenly so...emotionally distant, even when they're spending more time together than they used to.
I posted the first part as a chapter in my ficlet collection, but then the second part went beyond the ficlet stage, and so here we are.

Summary
Charles Xavier has returned from the dead -- but is lost within his own mind. Rogue has cast aside her own power and doesn't know where she fits in the world any longer. The production of synthetic Cure means mutantkind itself is newly at risk. And Magneto, turned human against his will, is in despair until the day he feels a familiar consciousness tugging at his own --
Set after X-3 (with much desperate fix-it applied), during XMFC, and every time in between.

Summary
Written for the XMFC Kink Meme, specifically this prompt: "Nazi hunter Erik Lernsharr is apprehended and sentenced to prison for the sheer trail of brutality and blood he left in his wake. But before he can be sent to prison, he's purchased by a Deadman Wonderland, the world's only privately owned prison come amusement park, where the prisoners are the entertainment.
If you're familiar with the show, basically the rules, brutality, and the like are the same. Except DW is run entirely by mutants, even if not all the prisoners are mutants, since mutants would need to be able to subdue other mutants. But mutants are also the most valuable form of entertainment, and hence the most valuable prisoners, especially the ones who are deadmen walking."
I'm wholly unfamiliar with the original "Deadman Wonderland" source, so I've just taken the core concepts and tried to fold it into this. Set in 1961 England. This also operates as my fill for the hc_bingo prompt "slaves."

Summary
Written in response to this prompt: "AU! where Erik is already the leader of the Brotherhood of mutants, out to wage war on humans for all mutantkind. Shaw can be around or not (maybe Erik is his general or protege or something). Erik hears about this up and coming band of mutants lead by one Charles Xavier who advocate peace. Seeing him as a potential threat based on how fast his influence is growing, Erik kidnaps Charles in hopes of either recruiting the X-men or getting them to join the Brotherhood.
Charles is not what Erik expects from the opposing side, and Erik unexpectedly finds himself respecting/sympathizing with Charles."
Also set in the early 1960s, but otherwise completely different canon from XMFC. Additionally operates as my fill for the HC Bingo prompt "Isolation."

Summary
Written for this X-Men: First Class Kink Meme prompt: Shaw knew that when you are weaponizing a human being, you must also program in failsafes that will protect you should the weaponization backfire. One of the results of his attempting to "program" failsafes into Erik is that following some massive act of disobedience (like trying to kill Shaw), the sight of food becomes abhorrent to him. He can drink water, but not nearly enough to fill his stomach without gagging. It's a harsher punishment than just denying him food, because when you deny someone food they can blame you for their suffering, but in this case he only has himself to blame. And when Shaw lifts the imperative blocking him from eating, he has to feel dependent on Shaw.
Over the years he manages to get over most of the conditioning, but attacking Shaw directly triggers it again. At first Charles thinks that Erik is just sort of weird and/or doesn't eat much, but he eventually realizes what's going on and tries to help Erik get over the "failsafe."
Slightly edited/cleaned up for posting posterity.
Also serves as my fill for hurt/comfort bingo, prompt "eating disorders."
