When Sherlock was ill, John had learned that his Mummy used to read him stories and do little experiments with him. So, John told Sherlock some stories and found simple experiments to do. Sherlock liked that. It reminded him of Mummy and his childhood which was safe and warm and bright. So when John gets ill, Sherlock returns the favour. But he'll never tell Mycroft or even Mrs. Hudson about the time he coloured pages with a delirious John. It'd destroy his carefully constructed facadé as a "Sociopath".

Ate some bad oysters and enjoyed 24 hours of vomiting and other unmentionables. This story was born of that experience. Harry and John: sibling bonding through vomit. (absolutely no incest) This story became a lot more angsty than it had a right to be. You have been warned.
After her infant years, Harry never threw up, or at least never admitted to it, not until her first court ordered rehab. Harry had listed John as her next of kin, the only reason he was informed of her whereabouts. When John called, she asked in a fit of tearful cussing, "Is this what it's like for you, brother mine? All this upchucking, it's worse than the bloody, goddamn disease."

Written for the SherlockBBC_fic meme prompt: Sherlock hates hospitals. He is always fully clothed, doesn't let anyone see him naked or let anyone get close to him. It is because his body is covered in scars. How he got those scars is up to you. Mycroft knows and that is why he is so protective of Sherlock and why he worries constantly. Sherlock is injured badly during the incident at the pool and the paramedics that respond have to cut off some of his cloth reveling his scars. Now everyone knows something very, very bad happened to Sherlock. How does everyone react? How does Sherlock react to everyone knowing about the scars?
Note: This story is more about the meaning of the scars to Sherlock than his intimacy issues per-se. Can be seen as Gen-fic or Pre-slash.
