Derek isn’t sure when they went from a firm handshake, and a clasp on the arm, to standing too close and breathing in each others air. He remembers the look in Dean’s eyes, the pleading of loneliness. Derek runs his tongue along his bottom lip before pulling it in between his teeth to hold himself back. He watches Dean’s lips part as if to say something once more, and Derek knows. He knows he doesn’t want to say good bye.

The day I drove three and a half hours away from Beacon Hills, just to go to a VERY unconventional clothing store, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Okay. I had a little bit of an idea. But I thought I would get into it slowly, try it on a couple of times before testing the waters with Derek, before even bothering to see if it would be an issue.
When I got back to my jeep, pockets considerably lighter, box not just heavy in my hands, but the contents heavy on my mind, I couldn't help but laugh. This was a really bad idea.
Or the best one ever.
Yeah, we're going to go with best idea ever.
