It could be minutes or hours later when they finally let go of each other, though they don’t move very far.
Isak slips his hand into Even’s and presses their foreheads together once again. “Come home with me,” he whispers, a quiet request lost to the space between their mouths.
He’s close enough to hear Even swallow before his fingers tighten in Isak’s hold and he murmurs an, “Okay.”
A look at the moments between O Helga Natt and Passe på meg.
Isak was staring to get used to Even giving him this bits of information about himself out of the blue. He could almost understand why Even was doing it this way, but the fact was that even if Isak could not follow Even’s reasons, he would still offer bits of himself in return. Because it was Even; because he knew it was important.

Sometimes, Even’s mind feels like a mess, and it seems like no one in the world can sort it out, especially not Even himself.
But there are no rules, with Isak.
Isak gets the call at about half-past three am.
He wakes up on the first ring, almost like even his body was expecting the interruption, because Isak’s mind certainly had been.
Even had been manic for the last week and a half.
(Or, a future fic in which Even falls into another depressive state, but Isak is there for him in any way he can be.)
