Tony's on the verge of giving up when he stumbles into Lucas and his large brood of troubled children. He knows they're on the run, but frankly, he's not going to live very much longer, so he doesn't care. He just wants to hang out with the hot guy with stunning green eyes and crazy kids, and maybe fall in love with all of them. Just a little.
When Loki finds out he isn't Odin's son, he washes his hands of the lot of them. He steals his children back from their prison and takes them on the run, hiding their true nature and magic in a mortal form. But then Tony comes to their aid one day, and he has to choose between keeping his children safe and hidden, and releasing his magic to save the life of a man he might be falling for.

A week into their tragic, limping journey through space, Loki finds himself coming face-to-face with his most dangerous foe: boredom.
As it turns out, it's difficult to fill your day so thoroughly you can't think, even when you're sticking to your best behavior and helping heal, and rebuild, and making sure your brother doesn't forget he has only one eye and trip through a window into space somewhere.
Really, it's probably in everyone's best interest that Loki find something to do. When he's bored, he schemes; and it's possible he's come to terms with the fact that his sense of appropriate scale is, at times, lacking.

Loki watches Thor until he comes awake on his own — the lashes of his one eye fluttering open, mouth twitching as his breathing speeds up. A dart of confusion crosses his face as he tries to move his arms from either side of his head, and realizes that he can't.
“Loki,” Thor says immediately; the only name that could spring to his lips, waking like this. “Loki.”
Even from such a high tower, Thor could easily pick out his brother amongst the crowd gathered on the Rainbow Bridge. He had just lost an eye, but he would need to be blind to miss that giant ugly hat.
He knew his brother could not resist coming back to him. Or, at least he had been sincerely hoping he couldn’t.
Because there was a tag that said 'Thor is not stupid' so I had to write about it.
- Part 2 of Forgot to Remember series
“Only a hug, brother?”
Loki stares back, gives the stopper a gentle toss. It sparkles briefly in the air before he catches it again. “There isn’t anything else you’d like to give me? Nothing you’d like to say? Because”—he spreads his arms and smiles invitingly, both hands suddenly empty—“here I am.”
No plot. Just one long squelchy, sloppy, salacious sex scene between siblings. That's it. That's all it is. I'm sorry.
