Summary
It's not uncommon for missions to end in than optimal ways in Pegasus, but how badly they go can vary wildly. Embarrassment is just as likely as hidden enemies, genocide, and memory-eating monstrosities.

Summary
"What you need to understand is that the Goa'uld are small fry. They're not all that different from us, they just have some fancy technology. There are things out there that have consumed entire planets for lunch. That's why this mission is so important, Major. The Ancients managed to survive over sixty-five million years in a very hostile universe. If we can learn to reproduce their sciences and technology, we'll have a chance not just against the Goa'uld and the Replicators, but against things like NIGHTMARE GREEN if the great old ones return from beyond space-time to eat our brains."

Summary
In 1939, Cameron Mitchell goes against his better judgement and gives history a little nudge in his favor. What could reclaiming a lost love really hurt anyways? As it turns out, quite a lot. This series goes AU from SGA mid-Season 3 and SG-1 mid-Season 10, specifically at SGA "The Return". Some timeline fiddling has been done to arrange events to line up how I want them, but in general events up to that point occur as in canon in both order and substance. After that, all bets are off. Spoilers through, well, everything.
