It occurred to me while I was trying to tell someone who'd never seen Band of Brothers or knew what fan fiction about this story that it was a crime I'd never bookmarked it. I have so much love and affection for this fic as not just a great Band of Brothers story, but a wonderful piece of incredibly powerful writing that I will remember for years and years as something to aspire to in my own writing.
