Summary
The Stargate Program continues to grow, with the SGC alone fielding twenty-five SG teams, not to mention the Atlantis expedition, the crews of the 304 fleet, off-world base personnel and even the civilians who build those bases... so where are they trained?
This is (possibly) the first in a series of fics covering the character of Brigadier General Robert Turnbull as he endeavours to provide ever growing numbers of very highly trained personnel and overcome the unique challenges of working in the Stargate Program.

Summary
The Tok'ra symbiote Sabar was introduced in "All That We Leave Behind", Book 1 of By Honor Bound. However, he'd led had a long and interesting life for over 2,000 years by the time Colonel Frank Cromwell first encountered him, with his most recent centuries propelling him into a role few others of his kind would be willing to take. This is the story of what transpired to bring Sabar to his role as the leader of a rogue band of Tok'ra dedicated to working against the Goa'uld in ways that their mainstream cousins deemed too dangerous to their kind.

Not all Goa'uld can be neatly categorised as System Lords or Tok'ra… but does that alter how they are treated?

Summary
Many elements of the Gateverse were never adequately explored, and some of what was explored was perhaps inadequate to conveying a fully-realized vision of what such a universe might be like. Presented here in the series For Honor's Sake and its sister series By Honor Bound is a compelling re-imagining of the Gateverse. On the surface, it is indistinguishable from the canon 'verse as it was known Season 2 of SG-1, although if one digs deeper into its history and current conditions, it soon becomes clear that things developed a bit differently here. The Goa'uld are still the Goa'uld, the Tok'ra still Tok'ra and loyal to Egeria's intent, and the SGC and its personnel are still the same characters we know and love, with a few additions.
You can check your Ori and your Replicators at the door, however, and be prepared to see the Ancients in a slightly different light when we see them at all. The Goa'uld, by contrast, have a far more three-dimensional history and culture than canon gave them, as will become obvious as we meet several of them and move through their society, seeing it sometimes through their own eyes and sometimes through the eyes of the Tok'ra, who also evidence a rich culture of their own.

Summary
By Honor Bound takes place in an AU for SG-1 beginning immediately after the Season 2 episode A Matter of Time.
Last seen falling through the Stargate while helping Jack to set the shaped charge that would cause the wormhole to skip away from a planet orbiting a black hole, Colonel Frank Cromwell is still in transit during the skip. He arrives alone on an alien world, with no knowledge of the Gate address for Earth, and only the sketchiest of information about conditions in the galaxy beyond his homeworld. He must make his own way in his new environment while hoping that the SGC and Jack (his best friend) survived the blast, and that a rescue team will eventually come for him.
Putting his Air Force training to use, Cromwell finds himself in league with a group of rogue Tok'ra involved in the war against the Goa'uld on a separate front, while Jack goes searching for him with SG-1's help.
By Honor Bound chronicles Frank Cromwell's extraordinary journey, his triumphant return to Earth -- armed with knowledge that can help the Tau'ri -- and his future with the SGC, serving once again alongside Jack O'Neill, with whom he shared a promise years before to leave no one behind.
