Summary
A series of alternate universes from different fandoms, in which I take my favorite fictional characters and turn them all into pirates! My great love of piracy and swashbuckling adventure is the only explanation for this rabid insanity. Well, it's just a bit of fun, anyway. Enjoy!

Summary
In the years since Bilbo left Erebor, he has lost his respectability, gained a nephew, and gotten on with life at Bag End.
He'd left aside adventure for the comforts and peace of his little Hobbit hole, and for the love of a child who needed him. Though perhaps, adventures can yet find him.

Bookmarker's Notes
Utterly lovely. This entire story is like a warm hug - chicken soup for the soul, one might say. It has a deliciously slow build with so many adorable domestic moments that you'll be going "aww" on a nearly continuous basis. The minor characters are as wonderfully written as the major ones, and everything flows perfectly. Dwalin is made of pure win and Frodo is simply too cute for words. A definite must-read, especially if you're feeling down and need a pick-me-up!

Kame's got his reasons for seeing prostitutes. Jin's got his reasons for being one. Life is pretty screwed up.

In my top 5 stories of all time, this is a perfectly-written and beautifully angsty love story that doesn't minimalize or glamorize prostitution and all its attendant consent issues. Absolutely flawless, and an emotional roller-coaster the likes of which you will never, ever want to get off of.

An eideteker, the prior called the boy. Awe in his voice. As illiterate as the rest of the villagers, but put a gospel in front of him for five minutes and he will write you the entire book from memory. Not a single mistake.

Bookmarker's Notes
This is absolutely amazing - magnetic characterization, perfectly-paced storytelling and just enough background suspense to keep things interesting, plot-wise, while the sexual tension simmers and builds between the main characters. Highly recommended.
