  1. Summary

This is something that started as some doodles on how to combine all the relationships I like in Hamilton fandom into one poly arrangement while still having everyone be engaged in politics, and ended up as an ongoing writing project that is at the time of posting this at 22000 words and counting. It includes family drama, drinking games, politics, and kinky sex, among other things.

As I'm writing and posting out of chronological or any other order, have the basics: Alexander Hamilton and John Laurens went to Columbia together, fell in love, got married on the day New York legalized gay marriage, and managed to stick to it through the army, politics and family issues. A few years later, Alex and Eliza fell in love, and all three of them formed a poly V with Alex at the apex, living and raising children together. A few more years, and Alex somehow developed (with his partners' consent) a thing with his boss of many years, the soon-to-be President George Washington. It makes things complicated, but when haven't they been in their lives?

  5. Summary

    1. It started as an idea of a kinky PWP which suddenly needed explanation and character development and stuff, so it grew into a longer story, and then to the series. PWP ended up unfinished. Story of my life.

    2. Those who have seen Equilibrium will recognize John Preston; those who haven’t - it’s enough to know that he is played by Christian Bale, looks like this and knows a cool shooting/fighting technique.

    3. The story is set after the end of Equilibrium, between Dead Line and Children of Earth for Torchwood and after The Next Doctor for Doctor Who. The 'he will knock four times' arch never happened here.

    Summary

There were times when her days felt as impossibilities, as dreams, all carefully numbered within her mind: Ninety-one years spent living, and forty-four of them endured as a widow, racing against history and time . . . Sixteen years lost debating over the shape the Monument should take, yet forty-nine years since its initial conception following the death of General Washington . . . Ten presidents come and gone, with each of them struggling to ensure a more perfect union than the one their forefathers had birthed in ink and blood . . . Too many compatriots to number, all laid to rest, leaving her the last of a dying age . . .

. . . and, even to her final days, one husband she was determined the world would remember, no matter what.

Or: Eliza Hamilton, and the building of a legacy. And, for others, such as the soft-spoken congressman from Illinois: how lucky they were to be alive while such a woman still walked amongst them.

    Summary

Hamilton tosses the ruined letter onto the floor with a disgruntled noise and reaches to his left for a new sheet. It is a wonder they are still stocked with paper at this rate. He flips the page around and puts it down in front of him but suddenly notices the page is not empty. On the paper, Hamilton finds a drawing.

    Summary

Following a fight with Laurens, after having not heard from him in a month during his self-imposed exile to South Carolina, Alexander is ordered by Washington to burn flour mills along the Schuylkill River before they fall into enemy hands. Things do not go according to plan.

A character study of sorts. Lots of angst, self-esteem issues, internalised homophobia and miscommunication (or lack thereof entirely.)

George Washington wants to give his newfound son the world. For now, though, he'll settle for getting Alexander back to Mount Vernon in one piece.

This...presents more challenges than he would have thought.
