Summary
When John Watson comes home from the war in Afghanistan, he does so with a bullet wound to his left shoulder, a, “mysterious,” limp in his right leg that he knows isn’t really so strange as his therapist thinks it is, and an infection that changes everything about him, right down to his very humanity.
In short, he comes home as a werewolf.

Fusion of Patricia Briggs', "Mercy Thompson/Alpha & Omega," world with BBC Sherlock - essentially, I'll be using the rules of Briggs' world, and applying them to Sherlock. There may be brief mentions of the characters from Briggs' books, but overall the two worlds won't be colliding.

Sherlock is now at Whitecross, a halfway-house, where he has met Victor Trevor - a tennis player recovering from an addiction to pain killers, and who seems to be rather taken with Sherlock. John is awaiting his own transfer and trying not to take to heart every rumor the papers print - especially the ones surrounding Sherlock. Can they stay together, despite everything? Summary
Being a werewolf was terribly inconvenient: a sudden allergy to silver, the heightened sense of smell that would give him migraines if the scent was potent enough, and the fact that John Watson's wolf seemed to have found it's mate in one Sherlock Holmes were really just the start of his troubles now that he was back in London.
