Summary
The strength of a spell is magic fused with intent. Bind intent with enough magic and a spell can be cast even without a wand, without a single word being spoken; sometimes without the caster even knowing what he has done. People say all the time that you never forget your first love. Nate vowed that he never would. The question is, why did he?

Summary
Evan Wright, CIA Deputy Director, is in Berlin, Germany when an op he’s running goes south. His only clue points to someone named Brad Colbert whose information is above Evan’s clearance. Nate Fick knows all about Brad Colbert but he’s living in Madrid working at a CIA outpost behind a desk. It’s the assignment he chose, even if everyone in his department thinks his talents are wasted there. After the fiasco in Paris, they can’t begrudge him wanting to keep his distance from assets. For his part, Brad Colbert has been hopping from place-to-place, never staying in one city long. He hasn’t been to Germany before; not that he can remember. How his thumbprint got to Berlin when he was 4,000 miles away, living in India is something he intends to find out.

Summary
When Nate moves into Recon he's put in charge of Bravo 2, USMC's only all-wolf platoon. The Battalion Commander's hope is that Nate will be able to work as an effective mediator between the platoon and the COs, to make Bravo 2 function as well as Godfather had always hoped.
Accepted among the pack Nate begins to walk a very fine-line, split always between his men and his command, his fellow officers and his wolves. With the increasing mess of OIF, and the chaos back home when the truth of werewolves is revealed, walking that line becomes progressively more difficult; sooner or later, Nate will have to make a choice.
