Being an immortal is difficult enough, but when you're a jaeger pilot in the public eye, it's even more difficult. What matters in a time of war, and what constitutes family and loyalty.

If you're leery of reading this because you don't know one of the fandoms, please take a chance and read it. I'll explain anything you want to know if you leave me a comment, but I tried to make it fairly readable if you only knew one fandom.

    Summary

In the modern world, where the creatures of myth live side-by-secret-side with mundane humanity, Steve Rogers is one of the gifted humans who straddles the line between mythfolk and mundane, and he's never told anyone about the day he healed a dragon.

Living in the city in human form, Bucky's managed to shed most of dragon-kind's more unpleasant tendencies, but he's never quite managed to shake the tendency to get attached, especially not when it comes to the healer who saved his life.

When healers start going missing, Bucky will do anything to make sure Steve isn't one of them, something that would be a hell of a lot easier if Steve could stand the sight of him. Of course, Steve might feel differently if he knew Bucky was the dragon he'd saved all those years ago.

    Summary

An MCU fix-it where Bucky never falls from Zola's train, goes down in the Valkyrie with Steve, and they're thawed and join the Avengers together. The main story focuses on all of the Captain America-related events of the current MCU, with additional story lines dealing with both Bucky and Steve learning how to adapt to life in a foreign era and also coping with the feelings that they've had for each other for years.

The one with the cleaner bots and Steve, Bucky, and Tony getting it together in a functional way along with Pepper and Phil. ♥

    Summary

Getting four hundred men down three days' worth of Nazi-held road would be easier if Steve knew what the hell he was doing. Fortunately he's got Bucky Barnes and a stubborn disposition, not to mention a spare frying pan.

    Summary

The Avengers sitcom we all secretly want. Well, maybe the Avengers hour-long action dramadey we all secretly want.

Multi story, multi couple series. Series order is suggested reading order (not necessarily chronological order). You'd don’t have to read them all to read one, but they do compliment (and spoil) each other. Heavy Boots of Lead contains a series summary at the beginning if you want to skip to.

Mostly canon-compliant through Winter Soldier, and then we're off on our own.
