    Summary

This is the way the story goes, because people gives pieces of themselves to their precious people. Intuitively, instinctively, without even thinking about it. Selflessly, accidentally, because Tadashi thinks Kei isn’t watching, but Kei has ink in the shape of Tadashi’s freckles, and Kageyama carries Hinata’s first name above his heart because that is where best friends belong, and Bokuto is telling Akaashi the story of his family because he doesn’t want Akaashi to be scared. He doesn’t want Keiji to hate what he’s created, and even if it isn’t conscious, it is done with purpose, and anyway, the flowers are lined up in a row and the coffee is warm and the golden eyes are quiet. People give themselves to those they love. That’s how the story goes.

Or: The miraculous life of Akaashi Keiji, a tragedy in ten parts.

    Summary

"He doesn't deserve this." Akaashi mumbled into the dead silence that took over the room after his heated argument with Kuroo. "He deserves better and we are all in the way."

There was no noise except for the beeping of Tsukishima's heart monitor and the footsteps of doctors and nurses rushing from room to room, patient after patient.

Finally, Bokuto broke the silence. A heart wrenching sob ripped out of his mouth and filled the room with more pitiful sobs from the corner where he stood in, fartherest away from Tsukishima's comatosed body.

    Summary

When Oikawa Tooru sings, the world goes quiet.

Ever since being accepted into the Musical Academy of Karasuno, Keiji’s life has been all work and no free time but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. This is what he wanted after all. Still, joining the choir and piling even more practice on himself hasn’t been one of his brighter moments.

But how could he have not? If it means getting to sing with Oikawa, he can endure it. Because in the end all he wants is for people to listen, and if there’s anyone who can teach him how to make his voice heard, it’s him.

Sarukui never had 20/20 vision. But he didn’t need his glasses to see what he'd always seen.

Because for all the things that Konoha was or wasn’t, he was always one thing and that was beautiful.

Sarukui was never blind to that.
