"Sherlock tugged him close and in a show of possession ran a hand over his arse, smiling at him archly, tugging his jeans down so the red of his pants would show. The humiliation was almost more than John could take. Sherlock turned to chat up the bartender. He didn’t flirt, exactly; he just used his coercive beauty to open the man up like a paperback. They had their heads together when over Sherlock’s shoulder John saw a dark man with ice-blue eyes moving towards them through the crowd. John reached for Sherlock’s arm just as a wiry boy in worn leathers took the detective from behind and set a knife at his throat."
A fic for Red Pants Monday (all hail reapersun!), but not as playful a "red pants" fic. More of a "BAMF!John overcomes the indignity of the red pants with a little stylish asskicking and then gets well and thoroughly laid" fic.
