Not wanting to be a burden, he doesn't tell anyone of his troubles and always keeps his teammates at a safe distance, not getting too close to any of them. He's struggling just to keep his head above water when Tony catches him in one of his compulsions, and refuses to be pushed away.

Summary
In 1945, Steve Rogers and the woman he loves, Peggy Carter, make plans to go on a date. In 2012, Steve wakes up in a SHIELD facility, all of his friends dead, and everything he had known, gone.
But he has the Avengers now, and even though Clint does nothing but play video games, Natasha sharpens her knives just to scare people, Bruce hardly speaks, Thor doesn't know how to work a toaster, and Tony is suddenly being nice and making Steve fall in love with him, Steve finds it hard to completely let go.
And then he hears that Peggy is still alive.
Takes place soon after the events of The Avengers.

Summary
Post Avengers movie. Tony had figured that his life would go back to normal, or what passes as normal in Tony Stark's life, after the Chitauri Invasion - he was sadly mistaken. Fury isn't getting off his back about this whole team thing (never mind that most of his team mates are notable only through their absence), Pepper is dangerously close to a nervous breakdown due to his latest world-saving stunt (which really doesn't make his life any easier), terrorists have it out for him and the world by proxy, and Steve Rogers continues to defy all his expectations, somehow firmly inserting himself in Tony's life - all the while being ridiculously attractive and possibly the most oblivious person on the planet. Oh, and let's not forget the blue goo, there's blue goo, too. Sometimes Tony really hates his life.

This is a comic book office AU, where Steve is defrosted a year too late, Thor has forgotten who he is, and no one knows Tony is Iron Man.

Tony realizes he has to stop drinking or he’ll wind up doing something he’ll regret. As he’s trying to get over his addiction, Steve offers to sleep with him as a distraction. Somehow, this manages to be even more detrimental to Tony’s mental health than the drinking ever was.
Title from Ke$ha's "The Harold Song," which is the saddest Stony song ever, in my opinion.
