Summary
Big AU spin off from TNG's season seven. It begins in "Gambit" with Beverly forcing herself into faking a pregnancy. When it's easier to have Jean-Luc's baby than pretend, she changes the course of their relationship.
Most of the episodes of season seven are rewritten with Beverly/Jean-Luc and Deanna/Will as the main pairings. Synthesis ends with a marriage and a change of crew. Will and Deanna leave to join Voyager as captain and counselor, while Commander Janeway joins the Enterprise as first officer. She has a fling with a still in the Maquis Chakotay.
