This is the final version of Snuff, revisited by the author to correct unsatisfactory plotholes and generally "fix" the thing (see notes). Snuff is (I hope) a visceral, moody psychodrama of two hired killers fighting their way out of a forgotten war, each in their own desperate circumstances.

One leather finger insinuated itself over Sniper’s, squeezing the trigger cozily, and suddenly Sniper was afraid.

Sliding down into a dream was always disorienting, but this time Arthur knew something had gone wrong. He couldn't shake off the knowledge that there was something he'd forgotten, something his own mind didn't want him to remember. Being grounded in reality had always defined Arthur but when denial has run its course, dreams could give him a way out he'd never needed before.

Summary: Originally inspired by this prompt on the kinkmeme:One of the Avengers (Steve, Bruce, Thor IDK) has chemically addictive come, meaning that their (fully consenting please) partner actually needs to suck them off once, maybe twice a day, or he goes into painful withdrawal. They like to use this to spice up their sex life, the one with chemically addictive come making the other earn the right to suck him, making him beg for it, coming on his face but not letting him taste as punishment, etc. However, it ended up being significantly less consensual that the OP seems to have wanted so I posted here instead.

He fought ever onward- fell back to the ice that drained his magic far less than learned spells- froze circuits and clogged weaponry, turned the world to cruel winter and let his skin bleed from pale to blue. When his blood was shed, it froze, and there was a grim satisfaction in the way the humans scrambled from their battle, the way they saw his form and named him monster.
It went for longer than he expected it would, longer than it ought have, by rights. And when at last the blow came that struck him hard enough to force him to one knee- when he flinched involuntarily and in doing so closed his eyes, he knew from the whir of mechanics near at hand that the strike that followed would not be near as harmless.
He waited for death, and death did not come.
“For Asgard!” bellowed his brother's voice at his side, and Loki slit open eyes of crimson to watch as Mjolnir shattered the nearest construct to gears and scrap.

How he’d crowed to himself when he’d first dragged Thor down with him with his persuasive kisses, the turn of his silver tongue as he’d beckoned Thor to his chambers. Loki’d been so proud of his malevolence, certain he’d gotten one over Thor, because when Thor touched him and fucked into him and groaned into his mouth over and over again through the dark nights, he was no longer the infallible, perfect son.
With Loki, he was nothing; he was just another sinner, a darker thing not worthy of the light, just like Loki.
