  2. Summary

Family Feels, Unexpected Parallels, and Grand Uncle Bucky.

In his youth, Steve Rogers had been all but adopted by the Barnes family. After waking up in the 21st century, Steve goes looking for the last Barnes descendent: Stiles Stilinski. 70 years and three generations later, the family tradition of taking in strays still runs strong. It's a brave new world of superheroes and supernaturals that Steve and Stiles are both discovering - and trying to survive.

These are the (mis)adventures of the Barnes/Rogers family, the Hale/McCall Pack, and whatever their enemies try to throw at them. Pack is more than blood or bite, a team is not just the people you save the world with, and family is beyond the dictates of DNA. They are the people who you'd go down in flames for, who will always be by your side, and who you've still got at the end of the line.

It turns out Steve and Stiles have more of that than they ever imagined.

  3. Summary

I’m writing how I wish the show had gone - and how, it seems, the rest of the fandom wishes it had gone, too. Because there were so many great characters, it’s a shame how many of them got shafted in the writing.

This is Beacon Hills. Everyone has a story.

    (Everyone‘s story is worth telling).

  5. Summary

A kinkmeme fill that spawned into a massive show-style re-write of the second half of Season 4. The fics largely correspond to specific episodes. Each story has a theme attached to it - because you can't build a kingdom on Strength, Magic, and Courage alone.

    Summary

Scott learned that nothing good ever came of lingering in the past.

It was the word "human" that did it. It would have been amusing, if Scott hadn't felt so betrayed, how one word made his entire world collapse. It all crumbled within him, every piece of himself that he'd held together for them. For his mother, and for the pack, for Beacon Hills, for the kids in his classroom who didn't know what was going on. He'd tied all the pieces of himself that had been chipping off with Stiles, had let Stiles fill in the empty spaces of his chest, so that someone could help Scott hold himself up.

    Summary

    Pre-TWS.

All Steve really wants is some love, some reassurance. He wants it bad, but can't put a name to it. He's got a void in himself, and he's filling it with all of the wrong kinds of things; unfortunately for him, he doesn't realize that what he's using to comfort himself is the furthest thing from comfort anyone could possibly imagine.

    Summary

One month post Season 1. Matt had been so fixated on those looking to destroy the people of his city, he missed those looking to destroy him. Or, how the sins of the father are revisited on the son…and everyone the son loves.

“Seeing Matt like this – bruised and bloodied – it should seem to Foggy that his friend was broken and weak. But instead all he saw was power. Matt was pure, coiled power, nothing but bone, muscle, and skin out there fighting off the bad guys. Saving people from the darkness. Fighting for what he wanted: the people in his city safe from fear.”

    Summary

'Hey, it’s okay…' Foggy’s voice has the qualities of a well-loved LP, a tired pop!hiss! ragged feel to it like this is a tune that’s been played over and over. Matt struggles to remember what day it is. How to breathe. They both seem important.
