Once there was a little village maiden who went by the name of Little Red-Riding-Hood and whose innocent young life ended tragically in the belly of a big bad wolf.
This...is a completely different story, in which Red isn't that little, and the wolf isn't all that bad. As for the grandmother? She dies anyway, but it's for a good cause.

Summary
In a medieval Japan that never was, a fierce female ninja named Hana and a warrior from the stars named Hoshi fight as part of a team of powerful beings. However, when Hana receives a letter from her loyal family retainer begging her to return to the capital to investigate a mysterious serial killer, she finds herself back in the elaborate and formal court she rejected as a child. Bringing with them the silent orphan girl they have named after the first bird of spring, Hoshi and Hana must negotiate the complicated world of noble Japan, with all of its strictures on class and gender, while trying to track down a killer who strikes in the form of a laughing demon.

Summary
Waking Jordan up from a nap is basically Taylor’s favorite thing ever. He doesn’t have to do it a lot, because usually they have alarms set or whatever, but sometimes Jordan just turns his off and falls back asleep without ever fully waking up, and then it’s Taylor’s job to go wake him up. In the most obnoxious way possible, naturally. What a lot of people don’t realize is that Jordan loves sleeping, and he’s pretty much a disaster when anyone tries to get him to stop. Taylor’s pretty happy being one of the few who know that, though; he lives with Jordan, he’s allowed.
