Summary
Under the rule of King Gerard, werewolves are hunted for slaughter throughout the Kingdom, almost to the point of extinction. But when a boy of the small, outlying village of Beacon Hills stumbles upon a werewolf, wounded and dying, he can't seem to bring him in. There is something suspiciously human about this creature he had always been taught to dismiss as a mindless animal.
