A filk for antis who are fans of Leah Clearwater, to the tune of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic." Because my doped-up-on-antibiotics brain figured we needed a theme song. Written for the das_sporking community on LJ.

Inspired by listening to the soundtrack of Disney's Beauty and The Beast one too many times. The notion of a faerie tale style retelling just wouldn't let me go.

Summary
The long awaited continuation to the Mending Sunrise series (prior volumes being Damned, its prequel Blessed, and its sequel Convicted). This takes place three years after the events of Damned and Convicted, and includes the first appearance by the Volturi. Written for the TwiSpiteFic community on LJ.
I wanted to kill him. I wanted to put the bullet in his head that this piece of scum had intended for my little girl. Bella's house-arrest sentence is lightened... only for her to find two different kinds of trouble--once among the humans of Forks and again with the Volturi.

Inspired by Gehayi's comment in her Fifty Shades of Grey sporking about how saying "holy cow" in the middle of the field they landed the glider in could invoke the goddess Hathor, who would not be amused. Written for the das_sporking and TwiSpiteFic communities on LJ.
"I, THE GREAT GODDESS HATHOR, AM MISTRESS OF THE BARREN, MIDWIFE TO ALL MOTHERS, AND AVENGER OF THOSE TORMENTED BY MEN." Do not invoke the wrath of a goddess by landing in her sacred field. Especially if your name is Christian Grey.

Summary
Inspired by Geraint Wyn Davies' brief cameo as an unnamed drama teacher in the 2007 Nancy Drew movie. His brief appearance was a shot of glee in an otherwise horrifically dull film. Of course, once I saw it, "Bella Swan in drama class circa New Moon" was the idea that came to mind. Why? Who the hell knows--but Bella needs an adult around who's actually sensible, observant and empathetic. Written for the TwiSpiteFic community on LJ.
Maybe Bella Swan was part of his class because she needed to be. Meet David Pierce, former Broadway thespian and current Forks High School drama teacher. He loves working with his eager young students, though some require more special handling than others.

Inspired by Within Temptation's short film "Triplets" (which ties in with both their single "Shot In The Dark" and their comic book The Unforgiving). This fic is the second of a non-serial trilogy of stories I've been writing to tackle Anastasia Steele's multiple personalities. The ending is rather dark, so those of you who want a HEA will want to look elsewhere. Written for the TwiSpiteFic community on LJ.
"Yes, because ignoring things always makes them go away, Ana." Five minds, one plan. Heaven help Christian Grey.

In the time since my last attempt at writing a BDSM fic ("With My Hands Tied" for Porn Battle X), I've learned A LOT more about the Lifestyle. So, here's one that's more accurate, and of course, muy sexy. I've kept it light and more focused on mood, but there is some nummy spanking too. Enjoy!
Everything that she had ever longed for him to say would be there, silent and weighted in every carat of gold and diamond. All she's ever wanted is to belong to him and now, with a thin band of metal, she's his completely.

Five Things Nick Changed for Natalie (and One Thing He Didn't) by MelissaTreglia
Forever Knight
9 Jan 2013
Tags
Summary
A series of loosely connected drabbles about the less obvious aspects of Nick and Nat's (still) rather unique relationship. Not written for any reason other than my own enjoyment. I hope you enjoy it too.
For as long as she'll let him, he'll happily bask in her warmth. There are six little ways Nick has shown his love for Natalie: five are changes he made for her, and one thing that stayed the same.

Summary
Inspired by the way Twilight's Mike Newton is constantly treated like crap for absolutely no reason, as well as SG-1's seventh season episode "Fragile Balance." I actually wrote this piece back in November, but dithered about whether to expand it from the one scene or not. Coming back to it the day after Christmas made me realize it's just fine as-is, with plenty of room for reader imagination to take over. Written for the TwiSpiteFic comm on LJ.
Unfortunately, the word of one civilian teenager with mid-level security clearance wasn't enough to sway those who needed to listen. Something weird's going on in Forks, Washington. Luckily, the SGC has a man on the inside to find out why.

Drabble for the fic_promptly comm at DW. Prompt was author's fandom/character choice, and the phrase: "Learning something new everyday."
There was always something new everyday to amaze and disgust. Captain Amanda Cohen on the job.

Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling, 50 Shades of Grey - E. L. James

Summary
Inspired by Chapter 16 of 50 Shades of Grey: "Suddenly he grabs me, tipping me across his lap. With one smooth movement, he angles his body so my torso is resting on the bed beside him. He throws his right leg over both of mine and plants his left forearm on the small of my back, holding me down so I cannot move. Oh f***." The disturbing nature of the 50 Shades trilogy makes me want to dish out a fair bit of buttkickery on Christian Grey. Here's one featuring Rowling's Gleesome Threesome, in a movie-verse pre-Epilogue scene.
I was never in control of my body. He forced me to do what he wanted. Christian Grey's abusive treatment of Ana is interrupted by a very magical trio.

Summary
Inspired by a comment on the anti_bella community that Bella makes a better villainess than a heroine. That got the wheels turning in my head, and suddenly Bella's desperation to be a vampire made a world of sense. Written for the TwiSpiteFic community on LJ.
She would have everything she ever wanted if she just kissed him. Edward was right about one thing. The Volturi aren't the bad guys.

Inspired by Mervin's sporking of The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, specifically the fact that Meyer failed abysmally to give Bree her own voice and make her a sympathetic character (as opposed to being Bella's Mini-Me). I've also used Bree's character sheet in the official guide to fill in the gaping holes that the Bree Tanner novella left open. Written for the TwiSpiteFic community on LJ.
"My life has never been mine. Someone else has always been pulling my strings." Not all vampires get to live forever. Some die very young.

Summary
Inspired by Chapter 13 (Part II) of Gehayi and Ket's sporking of 50 Shades of Grey particularly, but also pretty much everything involving Ana's alternate personalities. I can't be the only one who sees the disturbing possibilities in her having separate personalities (her Subconscious and Inner Goddess, and whatever the hell else is joining the party). So, this is the first of three planned, non-serial spitefics about her alternates. Written for the TwiSpiteFic community on LJ.
"Ana's not here right now." Anastacia Steele is not at all who she appears to be.

Inspiration: Chapter 10 (Part I) of Gehayi and Ket's sporking of 50 Shades of Grey, which compares Christian Grey to the Spokane Serial Killer, Robert Lee Yates. The similarities are so disturbing, I had to give myself a spitefic detox immediately. Features L.E. and Chaz -- two characters from an original novel I'm working on. Written for the Das_Sporking and Twispitefic communities on LJ.
"Why, hello there, Mr. Grey. I do hope you're prepared for an uninvited guest." Renegade supersoldier L.E., with some help from her computer-savvy sidekick Chaz, is on the hunt for one Christian Grey.

Written for the 2012 FKFicFest, based on a prompt by brightknightie: "Gen. A case-related out-of-town trip; with his partner sticking close on their travels, Nick can't really use his money or vampire powers to smooth his path." Third season/post-series fic.
“I trust no one where you are concerned.” A string of deaths throughout Toronto and Montreal lead the 96th Precinct to collaborate with the Quebecois police force. While in Montreal, Nick crosses paths with someone he thought was lost to him forever.

Bella and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by MelissaTreglia
Twilight Series - Stephenie Meyer, Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No-Good Very Bad Day - Judith Viorst
20 Jun 2012
Tags
Summary
Inspired by a certain charming picture book by Judith Viorst. Re-reading said book, which I so loved as a child, encouraged me to re-write the first three chapters of the Twilight story using Judith's language and writing style. Written for the TwiSpiteFic community on LJ.
I think I'll move to South America. Bella wakes up with her hair in tangles... and her day just gets worse from there.
