Summary
Five years ago, Thor's Chitauri army decimated the Earth. Now what's left of humanity lives in bases under the Earth's surface, safe from the toxic atmosphere. Tony likes to think that humanity's adapted pretty well. After all, they have movie nights and dances; they're doing better than could be expected. But when he learns that the little world of safety and stability they've carved out is about to be slowly but surely destroyed, the New York Underground is left with only two options--fight or flight. Tony knows which one he wants. If only Steve weren't on the exact opposite side. Meanwhile, Natasha wants whatever option will save Clint, Pepper wants whatever option will save the base, Maria Hill wants whatever option will save everybody, and nobody's exactly sure who Loki's trying to save, but everyone's hoping it's more than just himself.

Summary
Through the centuries, Loki and Sif have developed a winter tradition that no one else knows about and no one needs to. There are more ways than just the Bifrost to travel and more places than just Asgard to spend the holiday. And Midgard, for all its faults, can be lovely in the winter.

Summary
WDI Roy was a funny sort of bird, Annie thought carefully. She thought carefully because if she thought recklessly, she might think something like WDI Roy was a complete and utter nutter instead, and that didn’t seem very charitable. Things were going to be hard enough for her without people thinking she was insane on top of it all. Though she probably was insane. Even if Annie was trying very hard not to think about it.

Summary
Martha dreams of dead children one Tuesday night. This is a fact—the same as gravity, the same as time, the same as the inevitable entropy of all things, and Martha has seen all of these truths with her own eyes. Facts aren’t sad. Facts are just facts. In the morning, Martha chases the children’s pale and bloodied faces away with the kind of tea her mum made for her when she was small and sick. And so Martha gets through her days.
One month after the Doctor and the Master and the Year that Never Was, Martha's doing fine, just fine, thanks for asking.

Summary
Some nights, when they’ve pulled over at one cheap hotel or another, en route from one tragedy to another, Sam wakes from his nightmares in the unfamiliar darkness reaching for her. He hates those nights. When he doesn’t actually extend his hand, if he doesn’t actually touch the other side of the mattress, he can pretend she’s lying there, that Dean’s snores are hers, that she really is just an arm’s reach away, warm and soft and so alive.
Sam can't stop remembering Jess, no matter how hard he tries. But to be fair, he's not trying very hard at all. If he's being honest, he's trying to do just the opposite.

Summary
Imagine a boot. Imagine the leather and laces, the stink of mud clinging to its sole. Imagine pressing it against their faces. You know who. You don’t have to imagine them. They always exist. Imagine the softness of their cheeks against your heel. Imagine the mud rubbed in their eyes. Imagine how they whimper. I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.
Imagine showing them how sorry they are.
In the void between worlds, there's not much to do besides fall and think. Loki does plenty of both.

Summary
On the one hand, one might argue that it would be irresponsible for Darcy to sleep with her boss on the roof of their workplace while they kill time waiting for one of Jane's magical storms to hit. But on the other hand, Darcy’s here, Jane’s here, and their clothing shouldn’t be. Which, let's face it, is a way more compelling argument.

Summary
Written for the Avengers kinkmeme: "Among the serum's many little quirks and oddities is that in addition to making his body stronger and his mind sharper, it also kind of cranked his libido up into overdrive. During the war it was easier to suppress/ignore because hey, being shot at is quite the boner kill, but now he's in the 21st century and though they still happen, battles are rather less regular. As a result, well; let's say that Little Steve is suddenly "standing at attention" when not explicitly ordered to do so."
Steve respects Natasha as an agent and a person, but he also needs to stop looking at her when they are in public together because his body can't quite handle it and his uniform is very tight. The fact that Natasha's having entirely too much fun with Steve's noticeable problem doesn't help matters.
