He’s okay, for the most part, because he isn’t some pessimistic, drowning-in-his-sorrows hopeless fuck. He goes on dates and he kisses cute boys and he’s fine. And whether or not he ever falls in love in this lifetime (another thing that Louis’ learned about himself: he’s keen on reincarnation, not so much on God) is a topic for another discussion, a possibility currently in the back of mind. For now, though, he focuses on keeping himself warm during the winter (which involves barking at his landlord to turn on the fucking heat) and helping brides feel beautiful.

University!AU (kind of, very little University actually involved). Louis and Harry have decided, as Harry is going off to Australia for way too long, to be non-exclusive. Now all Louis has to do is actually find someone other than Harry that he wants to fuck.
Established H/L, everything else develops. THERE IS A LOT OF POLYAMORY. This is, at heart, an OT5 fic with some pairings more focused on than others. It's a little angsty but it is mostly just people being happy about being in love Basically written as an antidote/supplement to all those OT5 fics with lots of porn but no examination of the feelings involved.
