Written for the LJ SS/HG community Winter 2007 fic exchange for lowlands_girl. Prompt #1: It's five/ten/fifteen years after the war. For some reason or another, Snape's presence is needed. Hermione has to go back in time and manage to save him without giving herself away, and there should be a real risk of her running into Harry, Ron, and her younger self.
