When Hogwarts refuses to accept another headmaster or headmistress, the Board of Governors threatens to exorcise the school and install Lucius Malfoy as headmaster. The solution is to send Harry Potter in search of Hogwarts' missing headmaster.

Skinner wanted to help Mulder, to hug him, do something to bring emotion back to that blank, shuttered face, return life to the huge, dark eyes. But that was impossible. There was nothing that an Assistant Director, that Mulder's superior could possibly do under these circumstances. He wasn't expected to comfort his agents. He'd never wanted to before Mulder.

Mulder and Skinner meet in their usual motel to exchange some information, enjoy a little downtime together, and... well, the other motel guests don't have a lot of respect for their needs.

Scully's away. Mulder's stuck in the office, and he's bored and depressed. That can only lead to trouble... or an overactive imagination.
