Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division (aka SHIELD, you dummy) is not the only organization fighting for world peace and gutter press recognition and Abigail Brand of SWORD (that's Sentient World Observation and Response Division) would rather DIE than let it also become the most influential. So what if the World Security Council constantly takes away her funding and she only employs five people. She has a Norse god of her own.

    Sadly, so do they.

Movies can make you feel a lot of unwanted emotions. Sometimes they make you laugh. Sometimes - especially if you tend to bottle up all your feelings - they can make you cry. And sometimes they can make you see the light.

The Avengers watch movies too. But they don't have a movie night, don't believe everything you hear.

In time of test, family is the best.
    Burmese proverb

Family is like teeth. 99% of the time you don't realize you have it, but once it reminds you of its existence - it does so in a very painful way. Ruth Phillips (born Ruth Lehnsherr - and more and more people know it - and maybe one day Ruth Kinross) knows it better than anyone. But there's one thing she knows for sure: life may change us so profoundly that we won't be able to recognize ourselves in the mirror, but we start and end with family.

(Aka the continuing family disasters of the Xavier-Lehnsherr-Darkholme-Phillips-Kinross family.)

A great insight into Winona's character, plus some amazing interaction between her and Jim and Spock.

A perfect Javert/Valjean retelling of Les Mis. It's so perfect I'm gonna cry.

    Summary

Being a response to the following prompt:After running away from demons' trap, Dean and Cas hide in a church. Sadly, Asmodai, demon of lust, knows exactly where they are and casts a spell on the church. And things get a bit... hot inside. For Dean, anyway. Dean/Castiel. First time. under-a-spell!Dean fucking virgin!Cas. Rough sex, may be a bit bloody, Dean fucking Castiel from behind with Cas leaning on the altar. Bonus points if Cas pleads Dean to stop at first and then comes to really, REALLY enjoy it.

So, er, yeah - blasphemous like woah. Ahem. You have been warned.

Dean. Cas. Demon of lust's spell. Trapped in a church and having sex on an altar. Need I say more? Okay. Also actual humour and great writing. Also, I was the person who prompted this. Yay for me, I guess.

In which Molly Hooper gets a job, gets a degree, breaks a heart, has her heart broken, falls in love, keeps a secret, saves a life, runs a morgue, falls apart, pulls it together, and finds exactly what she didn't know she was looking for--not necessarily in that order.

A wonderfully written Molly-centric story. It has everything I'm ever expecting when reading fanfiction: it has great plot, fleshed-out characters who feel like they've been taken from the pages of "Sherlock" script, it twists canon information, connects dots you'd have never thought of connecting, and it's fully canon compliant. It's a great read and shows another side of Molly, one that is hinted in the show but not shown enough: Molly the strong one, Molly the hero. It has everything, drama, comedy and romance. This is a story to read over and over again, even if Series 3 will turn the ending into AU. Still. Brilliant prose, great story and a happy ending for everyone. Especially for Molly, who deserves more than a house for what she's done. And that's what's beautiful about her - she deserves so much and is fully happy with being just MOLLY.

Missing scene from the PotO!AU, written - hopefully! - after being nagged and prompted by me. This wonderful piece answers a very important question: how EXACLTY did the Opera Ghost and Charles Xavier got together? It's bittersweet and lovely, and it makes it obvious how those two managed to fall so hard for each other while still being in love with Moira.
