Friday Night was many things; Date Night, Movie Night, Friday the Thirteenth, that one night every week when the predominance of society were allowed to reign free in madness until the waning hours of Sunday when they had to trudge way to early to bed in preparation for a day of learning or manual labor. No other day received as much worldwide reverence-- mostly because no other night was Club Night.
This particular Friday was to be an interesting one; especially for Karkat and Dave, who, despite all odds and connections, have yet to actually meet each other. But once they do, it sets off a roller coaster of emotions and events that could either bring their fragile relationship together, or tear it mercilessly apart.

The guy’s cute.
Not, like, five-month-old-puppy cute, the kind that elicits a fond sigh and a long ‘aw’ from a group of expressive teenage girls; the guy’s more like Adult Cute, capital letters and all, the kind that's cute at a glance but gets you hot and confused at night after waking up from a dream that is most definitely not cute, like those One Direction boys or the 90s kids’ Chad Michael Murray, if you know what he means.
Not that a lot of people know what he means. People tend not to understand his thought process; Gavin has gotten used to that over the years.
