Ithildin's Series

Summary
In 2006, I started this series that began as a crossover with Grey's Anatomy. I thought Methos should be a doctor again, and decided Seattle Grace, the hospital in the TV series, was as good a place as any. Honestly, I think you could read the stories and not ever have seen an episode of the show, and the majority of the stories don't have Grey's characters in them. The last story I wrote was set in 2059, and had Duncan, but no Methos - very different for me! Though it ties up all the loose ends, I'd always wanted to go back and write what happened after, but never did.

Bloodties by Ithildin
Forever Knight, Highlander: The Series, Star Trek, Star Trek: The Original Series
20 May 2007
Summary
I stared writing these stories, which were initially Forever Knight, with Highlander being added to the mix a bit later, with a group of friends on IRC nearly twelve years ago. They were just for fun, and we never really thought about posting them. Somewhere along the way, we started sharing them with other friends, and one thing led to another, and they started being posted. We all had our own characters and we went in something of a round robin fashion. You had to let the others play with your characters, and deal with whatever happened to them in your next story (That's how Triona ended up as a hybrid vampire/immortal). Some of the pivotal ones, like the story introducing Methos to the series, or how Joe ended up a vampire, were never posted, but the incidents get referred to in following stories. These days, so I've done my best to try and organize some of the more dangling bits of canon in older stories, and clarify points in new stories.

Summary
These stories span the early 18th century through the present day, and encompass several fandoms, depending on the time period: Highlander, Pirates of the Caribbean, Magnificent Seven, and Iron Man/Avengers. The one constant is the Highlander concept of Immortality, and the series follows several canon and original Immortal characters across the centuries, along with an Immortal Ezra and Maude Standish from Magnificent Seven. The crossover element varies quite a bit from story to story, with some being strictly Highlander, to others being multi-verse crossovers.
