    Summary

    This is the story of what happened to Walter Lucknor, the triffid expert, who was Bill Masen's friend at the Arctic and European Oil Company. He was the one who administered the antidote following the triffid sting which caused Bill to be in hospital at the commencement of the book.

    I like this a lot! It's got the same sort of style as the original, but with Walter's own voice, and I love the glimpse of how another group of survivors handled things.
