Notes
Strangely enough (for someone who decidedly does not slash Sam and Gene, usually), my favourite LoM fics to date are the main parts of Mikey's "Undercover" series. Sam/Gene works for me, in this instance, because Mikey addresses both social context and character issues that would make that relationship difficult.

A Methos and Cassandra story I've loved since my very first excursion into fic reading, back in the late 90s. Marvellous portrayal of two complex characters and their relationship.

Mikey does angst superbly, not least because she often leavens it with humour. This fic does a whole lot of things very right that I've seen done slightly or even very wrong quite often. My favourite Gene-in-the-future fic so far.

Perfect voice. Delivers the same kind of morally slightly dubious fun as the film. Captures Martin's dysfunctions and his and Debi's chemistry so well it feels like an official sequel.
