Russ meets Milt's ex-boyfriend on a Tuesday. (It's lucky Russ already hated Tuesdays, or that would be one more thing to add to the list of Shit About Russ's Life Milt Chamberlain Has Ruined Forever.)

Written in response to the battlecreekmeme prompt: "One of Milt's ex bfs comes to Battle Creek. Russ's response is up to you."

    Summary

Jesse's suit is tailored to his narrow body like a jaguar in its licorice-black hide. His movements now are most definitely feline: licking his lower lip, subtly arching his back, eyes trained on Walt in a predatory fashion. Jesse looks like a damn jungle cat and Walt suddenly feels like someone’s dad in a Red Lobster with his slightly oversized brown sports coat and blue paisley tie.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Fantastic Walt/Jesse over time, with the give and take and bicker that is so much a part of both of them. Fantastic characterization and details, and f'ing hot a well.

    Summary

“You’re a bit like a bulldog, you know that?” Milt tells him in one of his less charitable moments. “You just go for the jugular, and clench your teeth around your prey’s throat, and you do not let go, not until you get to the bottom of things. You just dig, and you dig, and—” And, well, Milt can’t have him digging just anywhere. He leaves Russ a trail of his own making to follow.
