Summary
Stiles's life is falling apart around him. There's no success anywhere, only survival. He clings to every scrap of information he can glean and carries aconite and a lighter in his pocket just in case. He's not just looking out for him and Scott anymore.
Derek always saw his parents as a unit. They were Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end of the pack. His mother protected them and his father counseled them. He finds it difficult to do both jobs on his own, but doesn't think he has any other option.
