On a seemingly-ordinary eve, Klavier Gavin comes home to rest and relax. Except he can't really do that, considering just how bad the state of his house had gotten in his absence. Surely those condoms that are strewn around his house aren't used, right? ... Right? ... Please don't be used condoms.

When a barrier between two worlds breaks, it provides an ample opportunity for two separated cultures to interact for the first time in ages. However, a band of ponies and gryphons on one of these two worlds come upon a spoken legend that foretells the end times that follow the barrier's destruction—whispers of aggravatingly vague omens to come. In addition to this, said group find six mares and a small drake from the sister world, each as perplexed as ever as to why the barrier broke.
Yet none know how fast the clock ticks, nor of the forces at work in the shadows. Should they fail to stop whoever or whatever is behind the mess, a fated tragedy will strike—with all being plunged into their final, and darkest hour. But how will the differing groups stop the impending calamity, when they have but one meager piece of a proverbial puzzle, and such vast worldviews that are radical enough to spark fights between them?
Nina Wyndia finds herself plagued by dreams that are terrible enough to send her into a flapping frenzy. Ryu Bateson receives a request to investigate Mt. Fubi from the dragon god Landon, though he must have one—only one—person accompanying him. The two find themselves with little to work with, but both initially assume that Deathevan has a few leftover priests that need to be addressed.
Both soon realize that the truth is much, much worse than they could have imagined. Would it take just two to handle and rectify the issue, or would they be overwhelmed by what lies ahead? That, they know not—especially with very little tidbits of information.
The life of a criminal is rough, especially in the worst suburbs of the worst county on the face of the planet. Gang-fights, drugs, sex, having to grapple with the police—from the smallest offense to the largest crime, you name it; anything's fair game in a thug's world. One such thug, redheaded and brash, finds himself in a mess that keeps heaping problems at his doorstep faster than he is able to rectify them. It all starts with a seemingly-innocuous woman who unwittingly brings trouble hounding at her heels, and it spirals on from there.
Perhaps, though, he can find some help in this unfolding chaotic string of events. Maybe, just maybe, even companionship—all he has to do is play his cards right. Which is a hard thing to do, as the problems keep piling up and up...
Almost two years have passed since the four heroes successfully defeated Godcat and retrieved the Jewels. Now, a new threat looms and they must journey forth once more to defeat it, or risk the destruction of everything they have ever known. The sequel to 'An Epic Retelling.'
All it took was one night at a tavern to set things spiraling downhill for a quartet of adventurers. Even as they push against the odds and attempt to survive, problems just keep heaping up and up. As if that weren't bad enough, monsters seem to flock to this group even more than ever now.
