Reincarnation AU:
Grantaire and Enjolras have their last stand together in front of the soldiers, the shots go off and Grantaire closes his eyes for just for a second- and reopens them in a strange room in a strange bed with a shirtless Enjolras, and the calendar says it's 2013. Cue a panicking Grantaire and a confused Enjolras who wonders what possibly could have Grantaire this panicked this early in the morning, especially when this is literally the only day when they can sleep in and don't have work/classes. Then Grantaire attempts to explain, and Enjolras realizes this is more serious than he initially thought, and what does Patria have to do with anything?
Or, the fic where everyone is reincarnated and one day Grantaire wakes up with all of his memories of his past life and none of his current one and things get complicated.
