Circ_bamboo is a wonderful writer, both in Avengers and the start Trek AOS universe. When I saw Bruce/Loki, I was skeptical, but clicked on it just because Circ wrote it. I was not let down in the least! This fic takes Loki, post THOR but pre-Avengers and has him seeking allies for revenge against THOR et. al. namely the Hulk. Bruce is completely taken aback by this stranger that invades his cabin during a blizzard, but learns to like Loki for his house keeping abilities. The fact that Loki can get away safely in case of Hulk and Totes wants to boink Bruce tips the scales. :D

Very comic-y! The plots and character feelings have the flavor of comics, even though it's using the MCU as a starting point. The most startling instance of this is a very un-fic-like Tony, as he takes his behavior from after Afghanistan and cranks it up to 11 in a manner very similar to SEVERAL points in his comics. Also, a lot of time passes, with a time jump between some chapters of several months. Rather un-like how most fics focus on a small span of time.
Disregard this being so out-of-genre though, this is very very good! Never down and out depressing, but more serious about some topics than fics. Steve POV, with bonus!, unexpected foodie-ism, and lot of very well organized action.
