Summary
There is more than one beginning to any story. This one, it is true, started when a young soldier, alone in a wood in France, encountered monsters.
But it began again when another young man, on holiday in Scotland, went for a walk at the full of the moon.
When, on a dark night in an unfamiliar house, a young woman fell on a flight of stairs.
And once more, when a lost and desperate creature let go of the end of a spear.
These were the beginnings of the larger story, but within it there were others. This one began with a newspaper article, a faulty boiler, and a cup of tea in a snack bar.

After falling from the Bifrost, Loki landed in the back garden of a small house in Bristol, England, and was taken in by the occupants-- supernatural creatures who know a thing or two about what it feels like to think you are a monster.
Now that he's no longer all alone, or entirely an outcast, Loki just wants a peaceful life. However, when you're the God of Mischief (even if you're technically an alien, and not a god at all) adventures just seem to find you...

Summary
Years after running away from home with Sif, Loki is doing well in New York with a new 'family' and a successful bakery. A delivery to the local police precinct kicks off a series of events that swamp the little konditori; Clint plots unsuccessfully, Steve and Phil pine, Darcy cackles and hauls people for Late Nights Out, Sif advocates for more sex, and Twitter continues to be a bane of Loki's life, especially when one Tony Stark enters the premises.
