From a Sherlock promo video in answer to 'who would win playing Chess or Cluedo?': “I want to say 'Sherlock' all the time, but I've got a sneaking feeling My – if the nuclear bomb goes off, it's cockroaches and Mycroft will be left. That's what I think.” – Rupert Graves.
There. I fixed it for you, Rupert. -

John is invited to a stag party and a wedding. The related accoutrement suit Sherlock to a T.
Thank you to sra_danvers who bought me in a charity donation. We discussed many kinky, fetishy, smutty scenarios (which was a joy in itself), and we settled on this. I hope you enjoy it, my dear. Thank you.
Many thanks to my beta WesternRedCedar, who kept me from going all over the place. -

Summary
In a society where telepathic ability is too often equated with worth, Miss Mary Sutherland is short-Sighted. But that didn't stop her from smelling a rat in Mr. Hosmer Angel's courtship, and her case gives Holmes and Watson the chance to prove that the marriage of true minds requires no magic at all.

This was really brilliant. Brilliant characterizations, dialog, prose, case, OCs, everything. *deep sigh* I regret that I can only read this for the first time once. Truly.
I felt I was there in the Ritchieverse. The droll humor mixed with camp, not to mention casual world-building (!) was flawless. You dragged me right in. And then this section happened and I was delighted."Now, now, don't be a sore loser, Watson," he chided, balling up the paper and tossing it past the reach of verification—that is, straight into the fire. "I'm sure the reminder of how fruitless it is to wager will do you much good."
"I'm sure," I sighed.
But at the open mischief in his looks, I couldn't help but smile. I'd come to him drained to the dregs tonight, but it made no difference. After ten minutes of his nonsense, I felt more awake than I had in days. Give that man a shovel, and he could unearth well-springs in the barest dust.
The absolute fondness in John Watson's heart just slew me. I love them. And I love your client. She's wonderful. The fact that the case was about creation of control and power was chilling, as opposed to a caper or murder. The heart-to-heart between John and Mary, overheard by Sherlock, was beautiful. Very moving.
Thank you for this. -

“For god’s sake,” Sherlock blusters, “John and I are--”
“Happy. So very happy,” John cuts in loudly. He gives Sherlock a resounding slap on the back, jerking Sherlock forward. “In fact, we couldn’t be happier, did I already say that? The two of us. Sherlock and I, that is. Because we’re together--in a relationship--as you so astutely noticed before we could break the news. So. Yes. Thank you, Mrs Holmes.”

JOY! Such joy. It started with such pining and wistfulness. It continued with humor and terrific dialog. To be followed by a couple of great kisses and lovely indecencies. 'Window-come', indeed, lol. I really appreciate the overarching lesson of 'get on with it, life's too short' that grandmother's death underlined. What a beautiful way to wrap up this story but with THE cottage and a promise of a long time together. Very touching.

Summary
Maybe he could have been an artist, if it weren't for the fact that the dead can possess him and communicate through his drawings. He's spent his life avoiding idleness with pencil and paper. The sensation of possession is rarely pleasant.
But the spirits are persistent, and if they can't get him while he draws, they'll invade his dreams instead.
Greg Lestrade joined the police force to placate the ghosts that haunt him. After his greatest asset in solving crime flings himself from a building, Greg is once again faced with too many sleepless nights. When a forceful spirit and a troubling case appear, an innocent man could end up in prison. Out of desperation, Greg turns to the one person who can help him: Mycroft Holmes.
As attraction blooms between them, the case becomes far more twisted and dangerous than expected. The full moon approaches. Time is running out.
