They were sixteen when their parents died. Well, died is a relative term. they disappeared which might as well have been dying though they were probably picked up and sold on the black market, Richer always cried when they went out at night on their own.
Jim had them pack bags when they found out, a neighbor told them that there parents wouldn't be coming home after a few days and Jim knew it was true. Richard didn't question him, Jim always knew what to do when horrible things happened... -

Though, according to Jim, Sherlock isn't nearly as happy as he could be. He should find someone like Jim found his dear pet Sebby. Sherlock is skeptical, until he finds an army doctor with a psychosomatic limp in a twisted sense of fate.
