Written for tf_speedwriting, this prompt: Someone being scared of something others don’t mind.
This is continuing the ficlets in the scenario where the Combaticons have answer a distress call to an unfamiliar world, to find the Combaticons under siege from a large number of xenomorphs. The latter have already dispensed with the previous occupants of a base there. Fic follows on from: "They Mostly Come in the Dark."
Bonecrusher and Vortex go a-hunting. And they take Scavenger with them.
*Warning* for some gore, a dismembered (non xenomorph) alien, and Scav getting used as bait.

Mirage, an Alpha-mech and notorious philanderer, decides soon after the Autobots arrive on Earth that he'll have two lovers - Hound and Cliffjumper - for different types of 'satisfaction.' It's unfortunate CJ's besotted and Hound has a partner but .... whoever let others stand in the way of fun? At the same time, Mirage carries on his own not strictly Autobot agenda.

The Constructicons performed awesomely in the 1986 Transformers movie, and particularly Scavenger who took out Prowl with a single shot. But before they left for the Autobot shuttle, not all the Constructicons were confident about surviving the task ahead .....
*Warning* for potential drug use; and those upset by the canon deaths in the G1 movie may feel it best to avoid this fic along with any other reminders of that fateful day.

Summary
After their awakening on Earth, the presence of the Poleepkwan ship above Johannesburg comes to the attention of Onslaught and his team. Swindle is sent in with orders to 'negotiate' a mutually beneficial deal - earlier attempts by both the Autobots and Decepticons having failed in this regard. Things are not quite as Swindle imagined, however.
No warnings really - other than vague mention of Vortex' possible 'inclinations' towards unsuspecting aliens!

This was inspired by a Speedwriting prompt a couple of weeks ago, “Too much or not enough.” However, since I’ve worked on it on and off since then it hardly qualifies as a speedwriting fic!
Because of extracurricular activities Long Haul, as Devastator’s co-ordinator, has much trouble getting his team-mates to focus on what they are supposed to be doing – especially Scavenger.
