Summary
Following his shooting and near-paralysis at the hands of an angry human, psychiatrist and mutant-rights advocate Charles Xavier has to put himself, and his life, back together. As his body heals, though, his mind continues to fracture, broken apart by anger and the fear that the ideals he's held all his life are nothing but self-delusion. With his assailant's trial date approaching and his telepathy almost out of control, Charles's therapist gives him a choice: get help or she'll get it for him.

Summary
Bifurcation - (n.) the splitting of a main body into two parts.
In medicine, a single mistake can mean the difference between life and death.
For cardiothoracic surgeon Charles Xavier, a fatal error leaves him standing at a crossroads ... and at the mercy of the man he has not faced since their relationship fell apart thirteen months ago.
Dr. Erik Lehnsherr has a fearsome reputation. Due to his incisive autopsy reports, he has gotten more surgeons fired in two years than any other pathologist has managed over an entire career. But when an old enemy returns to Erik’s life, he must find a way to temper his pride -- or lose the man he loves, all over again.

Summary
“Pure empathy,” says Hannibal Lecter, and it will be some time before he realises his mistake.
“Pure empathy,” lies Will Graham, in careful agreement, and knows that it’s only a matter of time before he’s found out.
“That must be quite a burden to bear,” says Hannibal, and Will meets his eyes, sips his tea, and knows, for once in his life, that he is not the only liar in the room.
